If you don't know which styles to begin, he will help you choose dances that work best depending on the style of your wedding and your first dance song. Have a unique wedding dance mix in mind? Scott loves choreographing something out of the ordinary. So, if you have a creative idea, don't be afraid to tell us. DWS is here to make your vision come true!
Don't settle for the middle school “clutch and sway”. Scott will help you feel comfortable and look your best dancing at your wedding and beyond.

Dance Styles DWS Teaches: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Rumba, Bachata, Cha Cha, Merengue, Swing and Hustle.
Length of a Regular Lesson: A lesson is typically 50 minutes long. The last 5 minutes will be used for scheduling. 2 consecutive lessons can also be scheduled to help you get the most out of your lesson.
How Many Hours Do We Need? How Often? It depends how good you want to become and how fast you learn. Similar to learning a sport or a new language, the more time you put into learning and practicing, the better you get.
DWS recommends starting dance lessons 4-6 months before your wedding to make sure you have enough time to learn and perfect your dancing. If you'd like to learn a fully choreographed dance, start as soon as you can. Our couples generally do 1 to 3 lessons a week. To help you retain information, at least one lesson a week is recommended.
Our introductory wedding dance lesson is only $55!
During the first lesson, you will meet with Scott and discuss your needs and ideas for your first dance. He will teach you some basics to get you started. As part of the lesson he will show you popular lesson packages, for you to choose from, to continue creating and developing your First Dance!
Schedule: Lessons are on an appointment basis from Monday to Saturday. Please call to schedule.
James and Lenne Bryan Wedding Oct 10, 2020
James and Lenne came in for lessons on September 19th! They could only dance together on the weekends.
After their first lesson , I saw that they both brought unique talents to the table. We capitalized on them and this is their result...More than they EVER imagined then could pull off is such a short time!
Their friends and family were astounded!
Carol and Howard came to me three months before their wedding and they were ready to create a show stopping First Dance!!
Carol was quite the expressive dancer, but, Howard was known as the father, brother, friend least likely to EVER
be a dancer!
Check out their medley that brought the house down. The family was floored and thrilled by their performance!!
This is what happens when you start your wedding dance practice three months in advance!!
James' mom used to dance with me a few years ago. When he and Kay got engaged his mom reached out to me get lessons for their Wedding Dance. She wanted them to look great, and they did!
Alex & Melinda came in for three weeks to put their First Dance routine together. Twelve lessons later and we had this delightful 4 count hustle to the catchy "Lovely Day, by Bill Withers. The crowd approved :O)
Lessons for beginning or advanced dancers. Single men or women and couples accepted. Learn fun new moves and dance with ease and confidence.
